Add To Cart Button

Split testing everything on your site is a great way to improve your sales or op-tins. This is especially true of the add to cart button.  Ryan Deiss has a video on You Tube that describes his results of split testing the buy now button.

Split Testing

What exactly is split testing? Split testing is putting two pages out there that have only one thing changed on the entire page; for example changing only the look of the buy now button. This could mean changing only the color of the button or changing the button itself which could include the text in the button. You could also change the location of the buy now button, but if you change both the location of the button on your page plus the look of the button you have changed 2 elements of the page and you will not be able to determine which change was responsible for the different results. So change only one thing at a time. First the look of the buy now button and then the location of the button on the page.

Ryan Deiss and his team have done a ton of split testing on a variety of website design and marketing factors. The results of just one of those split tests is shared in this video the add to cart button. This is an easy change to make that has a big impact on your bottom line.
